Another place not far from where I lived was a land of pines and palmettos. I didn’t go too often after the beginning of the season, but it was another good place to take photos during the golden hours. These images are the results of a couple evenings and mornings out there.

This is a nice set of images. I’ve spent some time briefly in Florida’s Pinelands and it is interesting how different they are from our own New Jersey Pinelands and yet there are many similarities as well. Good luck in Alaska.
Such contemplative images. Looking forward to browsing your blog by and by. Cheers.
Thanks Dippy-Dotty Girl, likewise, and thanks for dropping in!
Impressive images ! Waaw

Memory time, thanks Russ! Every park had a palmetto palm wooded area growing up…we ran barefoot over the limestone for hours through those “forests” as we Miami kids called them Lol!
What a wonderful childhood you’ve described!
