A Moon Sashay

One evening in the Yukon I was watching the moon set over the mountains. Instead of setting in the way it does in the lower 48, just sinking below the ridge lines, it just kept sliding sideways over the mountains, like a stone skipping across the water. The sky itself is different in the northlands.
