House on Fire is an ancient Puebloan, or Anasazi dwelling. It’s found in Mule Canyon, not too far outside of Blanding, Utah. Late in the morning, when the angle of the sun is just right, the canyon walls catch the light and the exfoliation of the rocks around the dwellings give them the appearance of being on fire. This is from the Utah series. More images from Utah can be found in the Desert Southwest, Four Corners Region album. I hope you enjoy it.
Wonders of nature 🙂 !

That is stunning! Mother Nature has many ways to surprise us. Beautifully captured.
This is such a stunning photo. I like the angle you shot it as well as the post processing.
Thanks Tim, it’s a neat place, and that light seems to strike the rock the best at around 9:30 to 10:30 in the morning.
