Wouldn’t you know that on my last trip into the Everglades for the season I was able to camp on the beach with my favorite mangrove tree. Because I shoot with all natural available light I was able to catch the mangrove lit up by the dying embers of our beach fire. The following morning I photographed it at first light. I call it “three mangroves.”
For those into the night sky, you may find this of interest. Last year I photographed three mangroves at the beginning of the season, in December, and Orion was on the other side of the night sky. You can see that image in the March 2015 gallery.
The second one is perfection.
Thank you!
