The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. -Psalm 19:1
Passing through North Dakota, I had one evening to explore the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. As the early afternoon turned towards evening and the clouds developed I hoped it would be special. It was beyond anything I could have hoped for. I found a place on a plateau where I could watch for 360°. Everywhere I turned I was in awe.

Beautiful skies. Thanks for sharing.
Of course Mike, thanks for dropping by…
Always look forward to seeing what you have to post.
Thanks Mike, I really appreciate that!
Your welcome an happy winter travels.
So beautiful. The Dakotas are hidden gems. They have an understated beauty that many people have never discovered. We survived a spectacular thunderstorm camping in the Badlands one summer that I’ll never forget.
Like much in nature, the exceeding beauty comes in moments, and that evening had many such moments. I was fortunate to be a witness.
Spectacular! Who says either of our candidates will have any control at all? …in His service,

What good fortune you had in being surrounded by such beauty in one evening! Beautiful images! I live about 41/2 hours north. Your images have inspired me to go on a road trip.
