I was shooting at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and stayed into dusk. I was photographing a great egret, when a flock flew by, my shutter speed slow enough that that they blurred, but not with intention. I liked the idea, so I trained my camera back to the great egret, and decided to intentionally catch it’s flight and fortunately it worked just the way I’d hoped.

Beautiful
Thanks!
Fascinantes¡¡
Gracias!
That shot is fantastic, Russ – it shows the wing dynamic perfectly!
Thanks Eliza!
