I was shooting at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and stayed into dusk. I was photographing a great egret, when a flock flew by, my shutter speed slow enough that that they blurred, but not with intention. I liked the idea, so I trained my camera back to the great egret, and decided to intentionally catch it’s flight and fortunately it worked just the way I’d hoped.
This post was scheduled for this day. NomadRuss is spending the season at Katmai National Park in Alaska. He won’t have solid internet connection again until late September, so responses to comments may be delayed. Please be patient and see you in the fall! Still, look for posts here every Thursday!
