Great shot, reminds me of “Moonrise over Hernandez”.
Now those are kind words!
Beautiful photo! I really love it 🙂
Thanks Martyna!
As always wonderful as last night’s moon was . . .but the name Bullfrog cracks me up, is is a town?
Bullfrog is basically a marina, with a few National Park Service Rangers and Aramark employees and it’s my home for the summer season.
Stunning shot. I can’t stop staring at the moon in this picture!
That makes me smile!
That is one of my most favorite areas of the world! I have taken the ferry crossing at Bullfrog several times after coming down the Burr Trail from the Escalante area. You are very lucky to spend the summer there!
I am indeed, the Burr Trail is my backyard this summer. Sounds as though you’ve had some fine adventures in the area!
Supermoon? Its a stunning, attention-grabbing shot.
Thanks! That is the super moon…
whoah! i’m at loss for words
And those words are quite a compliment, thanks!
Jup.. This is a winner! Well done
Thanks!
amazing what wonders there are to see if we but show up – thanks for doing just that!
That was the month of the super moon and I was going to drive to an area called Hite to catch the moonrise amidst the mesas and buttes, but the drive is long and I didn’t want to burn all that gas. So instead I simply climbed a small mesa behind my summer home and watched it rise from there.
